Director Generals of Dubai Courts and DGHR Department Witness the Signing of Training Contracts with a Number of UAE National Jobseekers

Immediate job interviews for 315 UAE citizens during the first and second days of the UAE Careers Fair 2018.

H.E. Mr. Ali bin Zayed al-Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department, witnessed the signing of contracts by Dubai Courts to train a number of UAE citizens seeking employment within the frame of the khatwat al-Meel program, which aims at training and qualifying UAE citizens to work in various departments and sections of the courts.

Memorandum of Understanding

H.E. Abdulrahman Saleh al-Saleh, Director General of Dubai Government's Department of Finance, signed a memorandum of understanding with H.E. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed al-Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department, to provide competency and behavioral skills assessment.

Under the MoU, DGHR Department's Competency Assessment Center will provide competency assessment services to staff appointed to the Department of Finance.

Successful Conclusion of Dubai Government's Platform at the Career Fair 

Dubai Government's unified platform was successfully concluded at the 18th UAE Careers Exhibition, which was held for three days and was overseen by DGHR Department, the strategic partner of the Fair. The slogan "Continuing the March of Zayed" was chosen for the Dubai Government's unified platform in line with the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, that 2018 is the Year of Zayed. This year marks the centenary of the birth of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and builder of the UAE.

H.E. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed al-Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department, said that the Dubai Government's unified platform at the UAE Job Fair provided an ideal opportunity for UAE nationals to learn about the job market and future jobs.

More Appointments and Immediate Interviews

On the second day of the fair, 190 job seekers were interviewed in various Government Departments, bringing the number of job seekers to 315 on the first and second days. The number increased during the first and second days to 5540 while the number of those who opened new accounts through the online job portal reached 337 during the second day, bringing the number during the first two days to 664. 

The number of People with Determination looking for work who registered through the job portal reached 14 job seekers, bringing the number during the first two days to 27 job seekers.
