Dubai Government’s Unified Platform Provides Nearly 650 jobs for UAE National Jobseekers

As part of its participation in the UAE Careers Fair 2018.

Dubai Government's unified platform participates in the 18th UAE Career Fair for the ninth time in a row. DGHR Department, the Government Strategic Partner, is overseeing the Fair, which aims at providing a wide range of jobs to UAE national jobseekers. The 18th UAE Career Fair is held at Dubai World Trade Center Hall 4, and will continue until March 15.

The slogan "Continuing the March of Zayed"was chosen for the Dubai Government's unified platform in line with the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, that 2018 is the Year of Zayed. This year marks the centenary of the birth of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and builder of the UAE.

Dubai Government's unified platform, which is attended by 31 government agencies, offers 650 jobs, covering all disciplines, administrative and technical levels, and exclusively targeting UAE nationals, and is distributed to all participating government agencies, taking into account the diversity of academic backgrounds and experiences.

H.E. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed al-Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department, stressed that the Government of Dubai, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, attaches great importance to creating job opportunities for UAE citizens to enable them to unleash their potential and to provide various sectors in government bodies with qualified Emirati cadres with all the necessary resources.

This will ensure that the UAE in general and the Government of Dubai in particular are able to strengthen their positions at regional and global levels. DGHR Department is also keen to support the Government of Dubai towards smart transformation and to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum on the Dubai 2021 strategy for paperless transactions.

Dubai Government's unified platform at the UAE Career Fair offers a range of educational lectures, training courses, interactive activities, and various events to showcase the nature of the work of participating government agencies, job interviews and the immediate assessment of competencies on the platform.

The number of jobseekers enrolled in the Dubai Career portal developed by Dubai Smart Corporation in cooperation with DGHR Department - has reached about 100 thousand jobseekers of various nationalities since its launch in April last year.
