GDMO Organizes a Panel Discussion Titled "A Session with an Official" in the Presence Of a Number of Media Leaders

During a panel discussion titled a session with an official organized by Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO), Abdullah Ali bin Zayed al-Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department, stressed the importance of building sustainable, competent and innovative human resources capable of working towards realizing the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who sees government employees as the main driver of development.

During the session, Director General of DGHR Department said that the issue of Emiratization is very important and DGHR Department deals with it professionally. DGHR Department's National Capacity Building Office is following up this file in cooperation with other Government Departments. It is currently conducting an analysis of the current situation in each department according to certain criteria in order to envisage Emiratization within the next three years.

DGHR Department is designing the "Ben'aa" program, which offers annual Masters Scholarships in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government and in cooperation with Dubai Courts for some law students in the UK. Ben'aa program has so far completed 18 Master scholarships and 13 scholarship programs in Britain.

DGHR Department launched the "Helmi" vocational guidance program and began to develop a plan in cooperation with secondary and university students to educate the current generation about the most important specialties required for the future of the Government of Dubai.
