DGHR Department Discusses Modern HR Practices Post-COVID-19

DGHR Department organized the 2020 second session of HR Forum, remotely through the Zoom platform, with the participation of directors of HR sections in Dubai Government’s departments, during which they discussed modern human resources practices post-CVID-19, as well as a number of issues of interest to human resources in Dubai Government.

H.E. Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department, stressed the Department's keenness to advance human resources in Dubai. Human resources are the key pillar in the wheel of progress, so the right environment must be set up for them to innovate and make an effective contribution to the great development witnessed in the UAE. Without the excellent preparation and appropriate qualification, UAE people may not have been able to achieve the important achievements accomplished recently.

For her part, Iman Saleh Bin Khatam, Director of Policy and Program Support at DGHR Department, said: “The Department is currently focusing on looking ahead to the future of human resources to learn about modern HR practices beyond COVID-19, and to deal with the significant changes that the pandemic has brought about in this sector, and in working methods.
