MoU to Enhance the Capabilities of Dubai Government’s Jurists

DGHR Department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Government’s Department of Legal Affairs on joint cooperation in the implementation of the Legal Professional Diploma initiative.

The MoU was signed by Dr Lowai Belhoul, Director-General of Legal Affairs Department, and Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al-Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department. The MoU included the general framework governing the foundations of joint cooperation between the two parties in achieving the objectives of the diploma.

On the sidelines of the agreement, Dr Belhoul stated that the MoU comes within the framework of the Department's terms of reference on the qualification and training of jurists through training programs in all legal disciplines to enable government agencies to optimally benefit from their jurists, at all levels. It also provides more opportunities for learning and continuous development.

For his part, Al-Falasi stressed that DGHR Department is committed to developing strategic partnership frameworks with various government agencies in order to improve the performance of the government sector and to invest optimally in human capital by meeting training requirements and sharing institutional expertise and knowledge that serve Dubai Government's strategic objectives.
