"DOF" Graduates 96 Employees from 21 Entities in "Maliyoon" Diplomas

Dubai Government's Department of Finance (DOF), in collaboration with DGHR Department, held a graduation ceremony for the 4th Annual Professional Diploma Program in three specialized diplomas: Government Accounting, Public Finance Management and Government Procurement.

The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the High Committee for Financial Policy in Dubai, Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, Director General of DOF, Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department, and a number of senior officials. 

The fourth batch of graduates of the 2017 professional diploma program, which was launched in February last year and represents the fourth phase of the »Maliyoon« program, included 96 graduates of Dubai Government's employees from 21 government agencies. The proportion of female graduates was 68 percent. Forty percent of graduates graduated with distinction, while 50 percent graduated with a very good grade.

Form his part, H.E. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al-Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department, stressed that the wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, attaches great importance to training and rehabilitation of UAE citizens, providing various sectors in the government agencies with qualified UAE cadres.

H.E. Abdullah Al-Falasi also pointed out that the development of the human element is one of the most important priorities that have been set out in Dubai Government's strategies to develop the knowledge, skills and capabilities of UAE cadres to keep pace with developments in various sectors.
