Competency Assessment Center focuses on evaluating, measuring and developing personal and professional competencies and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the cadres. The Center is committed to design and implement a comprehensive set of international tests, under the supervision of a selection of consultants who are responsible for evaluating the trainees' competence according to their behavioral competencies and performance. The consultants make recommendations on enhancing the career development of cadres. The Center is interested in nominating trainees to join programs specifically designed to meet the needs of government agencies in Dubai, in cooperation with strategic partners.
The Competency Assessment Center occupies an important role as it is a key contributor to Emiratisation and Human Development in the Government of Dubai as responsible for:
• Identify mechanisms for selecting Dubai government employees.
• Development of the employees upgrading mechanisms in Dubai government.
• Assess the level of leadership skills and government competencies.
• Planning succession processes.
• Leadership development.
